Clean Sweep on the card, will India make or not!

New Delhi: Team India is ready for the third and final test of the series at Ranchi. Virat and his company will be looking for a clean sweep. India is 2-0 in the series and they have a good chance to create history against South Africa at home. In 2015/16 India won the four-match test series by 3-0. On the other hand, South Africa will be hoping for a test win after 9 years. Their last win was at Nagpur in 2010.

There is a lot of talk about the Ranchi wicket before the start of the game. As the media reports, Kuldeep Yadav may get the chance to play. Team selection is also a headache for management. On pitches that have assisted spin, the likes of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Ishant Sharma have shown that they are not to be taken lightly.

India batting is on the high mark. Both the openers have a big hundred in their pocket. Virat is back on the track, who hit a double century in the Pune Test, has scored 305 runs in three innings. For South Africa, their bowling is a concern. They haven’t performed as the team requirement. Their main fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has taken just four wickets in the series. Keshav Maharaj has just six scalps to his name, a disappointing return for a spinner in helpful conditions.

In batting, Dean Elgar is only a positive sign for them in the series. He scored a century in the first test and looked good in front of Indian bowlers. Quinton de Kock also made a century in the first test but in the second test, his short selection was terrible. South Africa was better in the first test, their performance was fighting but in the second they surrendered like a minows team.

The team is very close to the clean sweep. If India wins the third match this will be the first clean sweep ( three-match series) against South Africa.
