KKR calls Uttarakhand cricket player Saurabh Rawat for the IPL trail

Dehradun: We cannot keep Saurabh Rawat’s name away from Uttarakhand cricket stories. He is again in the news. Saurabh has received a call for the IPL trial by Kolkata Knight Riders. IPL auction is on 19th December at Mumbai. Saurabh Rawat is the second Uttarakhand player who got the call for the IPL trail. Earlier top-order batsman Avnish Sudha went to Mumbai for the trail for Mumbai Indians after the outstanding Vijay Hazare trophy with the bat.

Saurabh Rawat will be arriving on 6th to Mumbai for the trail and will join the team for the First Ranji Match against Jammu Kashmir on 9 December at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Dehradun. Uttarakhand fans want to see their player playing in the big stage of cricket i.e IPL. Coach Dan Singh Kanyal said Saurabh is getting back his hard work price. He is tremendous with the mindset. Very few cricketers adjust themself with situation and format. I see this in Saurabh, he just goes into the ground and expresses himself. He is first from Haldwani who has played domestic cricket before Uttarakhand got space in the Indian Cricket circuit. I know he will create history by getting into the IPL cricket.

Saurabh Rawat’s father Mr. Annad Rawat who works in NHPC at Banbasa is confident about his son’s selection. His priority is cricket and always will. He keeps things simple and getting the result. I am proud of whatever he has achieved. Saurabh’s family lives in Kotabagh. His mother Mrs. Geeta Rawat is a housewife. Rawat has been in pretty good form this year. He scored runs with 112 strike rate in ODI and over 135 in T20. His innings against Assam and Services showed his class. We wish Saurabh Rawat all the best for the trials and Ranji Trophy.
